Moin Leute,
heute ist ja Release Tag des The Spectrum von RGL.
Der scheint sofort gut anzukommen, die Vorbestellerzahlen scheinen hoch zu sein.
Die machen in UK sogar echte TV Werbung für das Gerät, das hat ja schon fast seltenheitswert heutzutage.
Ich verlinke mal die TV Werbung und drei spannende aber englische Vids mit Reviews des Spectrum. Ich denke deutsche Kanäle folgen in den nächsten Tagen.

Ich selbe habe mir auch einen vorbestellt... um die Wartezeit zum Amiga zu überbrücken aber auch weil es echt ein cooles Teil zu sein scheint.

Sehr cooles Gerät. Auch wenn es bei mir nicht so den Nerv trifft. Mir sagt der Speccy als Computer einfach nicht zu. Ich kann mir jedoch vorstellen, dass Leute, die mit dem Spectrum aufgewachsen sind, große Freude daran haben werden. So wäre es bei mit der Commodore 16 oder eben mit dem echten A500

Wo kann man sich denn für den Newsletter anmelden? Ich wusste gar nicht, dass es einen gibt und finde partout auf der Webseite keine Möglichkeit zum Anmelden. Und X oder Facebook benutze ich nicht, habe ich keinen Account und werde ich auch niemals haben.

ich vermute stark das diese Weihnachten noch eine Meldung kommt wann wir einen Amiga Maxi zu erwarten haben. Zum einen machen sie eine kryptische Ankündigung im Newsletter; "And do watch out, as maybe Santa has one more treat on Christmas day for anyone who is on the good list!"
Ich würde also mal vermuten das es da um den Amiga Maxi geht, wann der kommt...
Und da zu lesen war das es den Spectrum im März wieder in größeren Stückzahlen geben wird braucht man wenig Prophet zu sein das in diesen Containern/ Lieferungen auch noch andere Geräte dabei sein werden...

Ich gehe also mal davon aus das die Container im Februar verschifft werden, Anfang März alles an die Händler geht und Ende März Release ist. Prophezeiung Ende

Des weiteren stand in dem Spectrum PDF mit Interviews das RGL erst am Anfang steht und sie noch einiges geplant haben...
Paul Andrews schreibt dazu:
" To then once again the triumph of Retro Games Ltd being formed by Chris, Darren and myself, and the various machines we have released in the near decade now, leading right up to The Spectrum itself. Obviously, it’s not the end of RGLs or my story, in fact in many ways it’s just the beginning for RGL and more."

Commodore16 und AtariST ... definitiv!

cd32 mini?, einen MSX Panasonic CF2700 oder Sony HitBit?, Amstrad CPC464?

Was war so ein Kult, dass sich eine Replik lohnt?

Ich glaube auf den Namen haben sie tatsächlich die Markenrechte.
Ultima Underworld auf dem 486 zocken... und ne win 3.11 lizenz dabei =)

Im Ernst... ich kann mir vorstellen das sie ggf auch mal was eigenes machen werden... wer weiss...

Im Spectrum sind noch einge Spele mehr "versteckt"...diese werden freigeschaltet wenn man verschiedene Spiele einige Zeit gespielt hat...
RGL hat das zu Weihnachten gepostet und man kann bei FB seine gefunden Gimmicks posten
